Noodlup privacy policy

Last updated: 12 October 2026

Noodlup ("the game") is made by Ishan, India. Questions or requests: negiappdev@gmail.com.

The short version. You can play Noodlup without an account. The game never asks for your name, email address, phone number or location. Your progress is saved on your device. If you choose to sign in with Google or Apple, your progress is also kept on our server so it is not lost when you change or reset your phone. The app shows ads only when you choose to watch one.

1. What stays on your device

The game saves on your device: a random device ID that the game creates the first time it starts; your coins, hats, best floors, Daily Tower streak and recent Daily Tower results; your settings (sound, music, vibration, left-handed); and play statistics (number of runs, falls, floors, play time).

2. What the game sends to our server

All traffic uses encrypted HTTPS.

Anonymous usage counters. Small events such as "run started", "floor reached" or "a reward was granted" are added to daily totals. They carry no device ID or account and cannot be linked to you.

Daily Tower results. After an official Daily Tower run the game sends the random device ID, the tower number, your floor, falls and run time, so it can show how you placed. Kept for 45 days.

Challenge links. If you share a result, the game creates a short link with the tower, your floor and the mode. Kept for 120 days.

Cloud save (optional, only if you sign in). If you sign in with Google or Apple, the game sends us a sign-in token from Google or Apple. The token also contains your name, email address and photo link, but our server only checks it and keeps the account's user ID number; the name, email address and photo are never stored. We store that ID and your game progress (coins, hats, records, settings, statistics) so it can be restored on any phone where you sign in. Signing in is never required to play.

Technical data. Every request reveals your IP address to our server. We use it to limit abuse (stored only as a one-way hash for 60 seconds), and our web server keeps standard access logs for 14 days.

3. Ads

The Android and iPhone apps show ads through Google AdMob, only when you choose to watch a video (for an extra life or to double the coins of a run). AdMob collects data directly from your device for ads, analytics and fraud prevention, including your IP address and the approximate location derived from it, device identifiers (on Android the advertising ID and an app-set ID; on iPhone the advertising identifier, only if you allow tracking, and an identifier for vendors), how you interact with ads, and diagnostic information about the app (such as crashes and performance). Ads may be personalised and these data may be used to track you across other companies' apps and websites. On iPhone the app asks your permission first (App Tracking Transparency): if you choose "Ask App Not to Track", the advertising identifier is not shared and ads are not personalised with it, and the game works exactly the same. In the EEA, the UK and some other regions, Google's consent form asks for your choice before any ad is requested, and you can change it at any time with the Privacy options button in Settings. You can also reset or delete your advertising ID in Android Settings, Google, Ads, or turn tracking off on iPhone in Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking. See how Google uses data from apps. We do not receive personal data from AdMob.

4. In-app purchases

The game currently has no in-app purchases. If it offers purchases in the future, payment is handled entirely by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see your payment details; we only receive confirmation of what was bought so we can unlock it.

5. What we do not collect

No name, email address, phone number, precise location, contacts, photos, camera or microphone, and no cookies. When you share a result, it goes where you send it through your phone's share menu; we do not receive it. This website sets no cookies and uses no trackers.

6. How long data is kept

7. Deleting your data

  • Delete account: Settings, Cloud save, Delete account. This deletes your account ID, your cloud save and the data of the phones that were signed in.
  • Erase data: Settings, Erase data. This deletes what our server holds for your device ID (Daily Tower results, challenge links) and then wipes the progress on your device.
  • Or write to negiappdev@gmail.com and we will delete your data.

If you are in the EEA or the UK you may also ask for access to or correction of your data, object to its use, and complain to your data protection authority.

8. Children

Noodlup is made for players aged 13 and over and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The game asks for no personal details and works fully without an account, and ads are only shown when you choose to watch one (section 3). If you believe a child under 13 has signed in, write to us and we will delete the account and its cloud save.

9. Changes and contact

We will post changes on this page and update the date above. Contact: Ishan, negiappdev@gmail.com.
